In the house in New Jersey found fifty sick cats
In New Jersey, police found more than 50 cats and kittens, many of whom were sick. Animals were found in an abandoned house after the police arrived on a call for a gas leak.
Officials said that Howell Township police inspected the house on Tuesday, when they found dozens of animals in poor condition. They called the Monmouth County Animal Welfare Office to transport felines to a special location in Eatontown.
The Animal Protection Board noted that cats are now being treated for fleas, upper respiratory tract infections, skin infections and internal parasites.
Among the living cats in the house were found two dead cats.
