The latest act of vandalism occurred in the parking lot of the Island Air terminal adjacent to Kodiak Benny Benson State Airport, writes City News.
Vehicle owners Dorin Phillips and Alyssa Brenteson are residents of Ahioka, a village 90 miles (145 kilometers) from Kodiak.
According to Doreen Phillips, Brenteson parked his car for a couple of days, but when she returned, she found a broken roof, a broken window, torn seats, dirty marks from a bear, even his coat all over the car.
Alice reported that the animal caused damage to the car in the amount of about 15 000 dollars.

According to her, Brenteson noticed that the Phillips car suffered similar damage two days later.
The Island Air site is located near a wooded area and is separated from long-term parking at the airport, which costs 5 dollars per day. Brenteson and Phillips enjoy free parking, making regular trips to buy groceries and carry out other errands.
The bear is attracted to the smell of food or garbage in the car, says biologist Nate Liberty.
He added that since the beginning of the year, five reports have been recorded of a bear breaking into a car in Kodiak.
Now an investigation is underway, the main task of which is to determine how many bears attacked the car, or whether they are tricks of the same animal.
