The head of the United States said this in the Oval Office after a videoconference with US military personnel stationed abroad, writes Voice of America.

“I cannot say when the government will open. I can tell you that it will not be open until we have a wall, a barrier - whatever you call it, ”said Trump.

According to the president, hundreds of thousands of federal employees who were sent for unpaid leave because of the shatdaun also want the wall to be built, although there is no evidence to support this statement.

In addition, Trump also criticized the US Federal Reserve, which, in his opinion, too quickly raises interest rates.
