“I would get a Nobel Prize for a lot of different things if they gave it fairly, and they don’t,” Trump told reporters at a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, as quoted by RIA News.

Trump recalled that his predecessor Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.

“They gave the award to Obama right after he took office, and he himself couldn’t understand why he got it. And guess what? That's the only thing I agree with him on,” Trump said.

Obama received the award with the wording “for his efforts to strengthen international diplomacy.”
