Super diagnostics "Beit Gedi": the latest achievements of Israeli medicine

“People come to us with a headache, but it turns out they have cancer. Others come in with a cancer diagnosis and find out they have nothing. Our specialization is the most powerful and most modern diagnostics, which is the foundation for any further treatment,” with these words Dr. Tal Cohen, General Director of the Beit Gedi Medical Center, began his story about his center in Netanya.

Beit-Gedi is a private international medical center specializing in the most advanced diagnostics in the world. The center provides advanced diagnostic services, having a staff of VIP medicine specialists. One of the co-owners of the center is Vladimir Shklyar, the vice-president of the Israeli Olympic Committee, who led the Israeli team at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The Gedi Center's chief scientist is Dr. Dorit Arad, a distinguished researcher from the Technion in Haifa. It was she who developed a personal diagnostic system that combines genetic and metabolic analyses.

Medical specialists of the Beit-Gedi Medical Center, participating in international scientific research, have developed unique express-diagnostics programs (Check-Up) that allow, in the shortest possible time and without harmful radiation, to achieve high results of diagnosing the functions of the body, early detection of cancer, other pathologies and their effective treatment.

Programs are compiled individually for each patient by specialists of the highest category - all Beit-Gedi doctors are at the same time heads of departments and departments of leading hospitals and universities in Israel.

“Israeli doctors are ranked second in the world after the United States in the ranking of the best doctors, and Israeli medical research is recognized in the United States,” says Dr. Tal Cohen. In its center, consultations are held for each patient in different specialties, so there is always the opinion of two or three outside specialists, which is not done anywhere else in Israel.

All diagnostics are carried out absolutely discretely: male intimate problems, psoriasis, skin problems with suspected cancer are examined. “We work quickly and comprehensively - people prefer to receive a full examination plus its results on site in a day,” says the general director of the center in Netanya.

Almost 80 percent of their foreign patients fly in specifically from the CIS countries, and among the guests are several heads of government from a number of post-Soviet states. Also, many patients come from the USA, Great Britain, Belgium, France and Canada. Many guests come to Israel on vacation, and at the same time undergo examinations. At the same time, prices for a full examination at Beit Gedi are two to three times less than American prices.
One of the unique systems of this Israeli center is a complete genetic study, which provides information about the chances of illness in the future. On this basis, a disease prevention program is built, as well as an optimal nutritional system - individually for each patient.

“During the metabolic test, we learn what to feed the body with. Let's find out which substances and products harm a particular body. Adding special compounds to the blood is the latest word in modern science,” notes Dr. Cohen.

“If we suspect cancer, we take a sample from the tumor and try to “hit” it with fifteen different medications. But in a regular clinic, tests are done with a maximum of two medications. We then see which method kills more cancer cells. Some medications only cause cancer cells to grow, and we find the most optimal way to defeat the disease,” says the head of the Beit Gedi center.

One of the main novelties of the center in Netanya is research into extending and improving life (anti-aging). “Today this is the most modern trend. People are beginning to understand that anti-aging is not only plastic surgery, but also internal transformations, increasing vigor, vitality, and improving memory,” says Dr. Tal Cohen.
