Abylai Ospan from Russia won the gold medal on International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovations INPEXwhich is held annually in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is considered the largest in the United States.
Xnumx-year-old Ospan, a graduate of the chemical faculty of Moscow State University, presented at INPEX-2016 his startup called Joker TV - a device for receiving digital television around the world that supports all common digital TV standards.
“This is the first time something like this has been implemented, since it is a rather complex technical task,” says Abylay Ospan in a commentary for ForumDaily. “This project is the fruit of my hard work over the past 8 years.”
According to the inventor, there are about 10 digital standards around the world, for example, DVB in Russia and ATSC in the USA. It is for this reason that the main target audience of the Joker TV project is travelers who, with a compact device (small box), will not experience any problems connecting to any digital channel.
The name of the device, according to Abylai Ospan, also emphasizes its versatility: “This is a parallel with the card joker, which can serve as any other card.”
Joker TV became the winner of INPEX-2016 in the “Entertainment” category in the international nomination.
Abylay Ospan is the founder of the Russian company NetUP, which has been offering solutions in the field of telecommunications business problems for 15 years.
