50 Cent rapper declared bankrupt
American rapper and producer 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, has filed bankruptcy papers.
According to the lawyers of the author of the hit Candy Shop, the debts and assets of the musician are estimated to range from 10 to 50 million dollars.
At the same time on Friday a court in Manhattan sentenced the artist to pay 5 million dollars to Lastonia Lewiston from Florida.
Five years ago, 50 Cent posted a video on the network, which, according to some sources, his longtime musical rival Rick Ross has sex with Lewiston.
A resident of Florida later gave birth to Ross baby.
At trial, Lewiston argued that publishing a video nearly brought her to suicide.
