Where to go on vacation this summer: top 20 cities that attract travelers in 2024
It's time to think about your summer travel plans. Google Flights has compiled a ranking of the most popular cities for summer vacations in 2024, reports New York Post.

The list is based on selections made by U.S. travelers on Google Flights for vacations between June 1 and August 31. These are mostly popular and expected destinations, but there are also a few unexpected places among them.
The most popular destination for summer 2024 was London. Paris, where the Summer Olympic Games will be held, was only in second place. And where you shouldn’t go on vacation in 2024 - read in our material.

Tokyo, having risen from eighth place in the 2023 ranking, took third position this year.
Rome turned out to be the fourth most popular among tourists, and closes the top five New York.
Cancun, which ranked second last year, lost its popularity in 2024 and dropped to sixth position.
Orlando, Las Vegas и Seattle in seventh, eighth and ninth places respectively.
Rounding out the top ten best holiday destinations Athens. Greece is a sought-after travel destination this summer.
Among other comfortable places to stay in the USA during the hot months: Los Angeles, Miami, Fort lauderdale, Honolulu, Denver и Бостон.
