A policeman in Washington State gave birth to a woman on the side of a highway
Patrol officer in Washington state 21 November took delivery of a woman on the side of the highway after the couple realized that they would not have time to get to the hospital.
The future mother and father called 911, reporting their situation, and parked on the side of the Interstate 5 highway between Lynnwood and Everett, writes The New York Post.
Patrolman Steve Palm got to the parked car before the arrival of the medical team and helped the woman give birth to the baby.
According to his colleague Heather Astman, the couple went to the hospital, but “didn’t quite have time”, and the officer 12 minutes after arriving at the place reported that the woman had given birth to a girl.
Now the mother and the child are in the hospital, both are healthy and feel good.
