A coronavirus was discovered at the Prime Minister of Russia: a temporary replacement has already been appointed

The Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin discovered a coronavirus. According to Russian news agencies, the prime minister has already announced this to Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting held in video mode. Writes about this with the BBC.

Mishustin noted that he would abide by the regime of self-isolation. Acting head of government for this period, he proposed the appointment of First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov. At the same time, Mishustin assured Putin that the government will continue to work actively and that he will also be in touch.

Putin wished Mishustin to recover faster and said he agreed with his proposal to appoint Belousov as interim prime minister. The corresponding decree has already been signed.

So far, only a few cases of coronavirus infection have been officially confirmed among Russian federal officials. April 25, it became known about the infection of State Duma deputies from the Communist Party Dmitry Novikov and Leonid Kalashnikov.

At the same time, according to both parliamentarians, their coronavirus analysis was negative. They were diagnosed with computed tomography.

Kalashnikov noted that he had a high temperature, Novikov said that he had no temperature. Both are in hospitals. Deputies said they were infected by their drivers.

According to a source from journalists in the State Duma, at least four deputies' drivers were hospitalized with coronavirus.

In late March and mid-April, the State Duma conducted a mass check of deputies for coronavirus, but no cases were reported then.

In early April, a massive infection with coronavirus occurred in the Moscow City Duma. The infection was found in several deputies and officials of the apparatus. On April 18, at the age of 63, the deputy of the Moscow regional Duma, Ivan Zhukov, died from whom he found a coronavirus.

In late March, two cases of coronavirus infection were reported to the presidential administration. At the same time, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that all participants in meetings with the president, as well as those in close proximity to him, were tested for coronavirus in advance.

“Participants in working meetings who come to see the president take a coronavirus test in advance. Employees who are in close proximity to the president are tested,” he said.

In the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson infected with coronavirus March 27th. At first, he moved to work from home, but then temporarily transferred the powers of the head of government to the head of the British Foreign Ministry, Dominic Raab.

In the beginning of April Johnson was hospitalized, and then transferred to the intensive care unit. A few days later he was discharged, at the end of April he returned to work.
