World premiere of 'Sleeping Beauty Dreams' with prima Diana Vishneva in New York and Miami

For the first time in history, modern ballet and technologies of the 21st century will unite on the stage.

The world premiere of Sleeping Beauty Dreams in the Progressive Fantasy genre, embodied by the Magic Reality Group, will take place on December 7 and 8 at The Adrienne Arsht Center as part of Miami Art Week in Miami, then on December 14-15 at New York Beacon Theater.

A unique show combines modern ballet, performance art, specially created for this production technology. Real-Time Avatar, the grand 50-foot screens in the whole scene and the star cast of world-famous artists.

Diana Vishneva, a universally recognized world-class prima ballerina, and her partner Marcelo Gomez were named the best dance duet in the classical ballet “Sleeping Beauty” by P.I. Tchaikovsky in New York. They will once again amaze the audience in a new unique production. Old legend will find a new life and modern sound.

Ambitious production brought to life thanks to the main artist Tobias Gremmler, created images of avatars; costume designer Bart Hess, collaborating with Lady Gaga; to choreographer Edward Klug, who is now finishing his production at the Bolshoi Theater; lighting designer Laurent Fort; pioneers of the EDM music genre - Noisia / Thijs de Vlieger, whose music is heard in Hollywood blockbusters and who collaborate with musicians such as Skrillex and deadmau5.

The creators of the show were inspired by the classical ballet “Sleeping Beauty” PI. Tchaikovsky - first created that part of the story that has never been previously told.

The European tale of Sleeping Beauty has been interpreted many times by the greatest masters since the 16th century, but they all kept silent about one thing: what did the enchanted princess dream about during 100 years of enchanted sleep. “Sleeping Beauty Dreams” adds a new dimension to classical history and represents an unprecedented synthesis of modern ballet, classical and electronic music and 3D projections in real time. The most advanced technologies of visual art make it possible to embody the constant metamorphosis of images from Sleeping Beauty dreams, perfectly repeating the dancers' movements on the stage and opening up new horizons in the world of theater.
