A man infected with carnivorous bacteria due to a shark bite on a beach in Texas

A few weeks later, he was hospitalized again due to flesh-eating bacteria - doctors say that the appearance of bacteria was caused by a shark attack, writes Fox News.
Shelton was about 200 yards offshore when a shark bit him in the thigh. He was hospitalized and assisted. However, some time after he was discharged from the hospital, he began to experience severe pain around the shark bite wound.
According to him, he was in great pain, and “could barely walk to the hospital” when he came there again. Now doctors give him help and give painkillers.
The man admitted that he had heard that there were “bacteria in the water,” but had never taken this warning seriously before.
He advised people who have wounds on their bodies not to go into the water or to bring antiseptic to the beach and wash the wound immediately after leaving the water.
The man created the page in GoFundMe to raise funds for treatment, writing that he was “in good hands”.
Shelton expects his medical bills to exceed 100 000 dollars by the end of treatment and hopes to be able to raise some of the funds to cover these costs.
