The New Yorker has posted a video showing how Los Angeles has changed over the past 70 years. Particular attention is paid to the Bunker Hill area. Since 1959, he has been the subject of a large-scale urban redevelopment project.
At the beginning of the 20 century in this area were the elite mansions and hotels of the city. In the fifties, housing for the poor was organized here. Pensioners, immigrants, workers and other low-income people settled here.
The redevelopment project lasted 53 of the year. How much the area has changed can be seen on the video below.
