The Denver Broncos team defeated the Carolina Panthers in the Super Bowl - the final match of the National Football League Championship.
The decisive match of the season took place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and ended with a score of 24:10. The Denver Broncos won.
The most valuable player of the match was Denver linebacker Vaughn Miller.
Denver previously won the Super Bowl in 1998 and 1999 and came within one of five championships. Carolina played in the finals for the second time in its history, but lost again.
Denver's storied defense was able to shut down the Panthers' top-notch offense throughout the game.
Denver shut down the 2015 MVP, Panthers star quarterback Cam Newton, six times, tying the Super Bowl record.
Newton also was stripped of the ball twice, with one occasion leading to a Denver Broncos touchdown. Newton managed to intercept a pass once, writes “Voice of America«.
Before the start of the final match, Lady Gaga sang the US anthem.
During the break, Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars performed on stage. Initially, everyone performed solo, and then they sang the song Colplay Fix You together.
