Final ratings: Zelensky ahead of Poroshenko almost three times

Showman Vladimir Zelensky confidently leads the polls three days before the second round of the presidential election in Ukraine. According to survey of the sociological group "Rating", Zelensky is ready to vote for almost three times more voters than for the current head of state, Petro Poroshenko.

According to survey, among those who intend to vote in the second round and have decided on their choice, 73% are ready to vote for Zelensky, 27% are ready to vote for Poroshenko.

Zelensky is ahead of his rival in all age categories. He is the leader among the inhabitants of the east, south and center of Ukraine, while in the west the positions of both candidates are almost equal.

The survey - a personal formal interview - was conducted from April 12 to 16 among 3 thousand respondents. The error in the representativeness of the study is no more than 1,8%.

Earlier, his research was published by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS). It was based on telephone interviews and recorded a reduction in Poroshenko’s lag behind Zelensky, writes with the BBC.

As the results show, from April 6 to April 16, in general, the rating of candidate Vladimir Zelensky decreased slightly, while the rating of Petro Poroshenko increased.

According to KIIS, as of April 15-16, among all respondents planning to go to the polls, 65,1% plan to vote for Zelensky, while 34,9% plan to vote for the current president. As of April 6-7, 69,9% were ready to vote for Zelensky, and 30,1% for Poroshenko.

Without aircraft and residences

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky gave a great interview publication of RBC-Ukraine, in which he told about his plans in case of winning the elections.

In particular, Zelensky said that he intends to communicate directly with the Ukrainian people through social networks, will not interfere with the work of the media and wants to revise the ban on Russian cultural figures from entering Ukraine.

The leader of the presidential race also opposed the granting of a special status to Donbass and said that he would not sign an amnesty law for armed supporters of the so-called Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

In addition, Zelensky said that in the event of his victory, he would like to sell three presidential planes and fly regular flights, and also prohibit blocking roads for the duration of the presidential motorcade. Presidential residences Zelensky proposed to turn into children's holiday camps.
