Presidential Candidates of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Zelensky agreed to start the debate at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv on April 19 at 19:00.

On April 19, 2019, a debate will take place at the Olympic National Complex between presidential candidates: representative of the Servant of the People party Vladimir Zelensky and the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The candidates will communicate with each other in front of the entire country. The whole world,” says the event page on the social network.

Due to enhanced security measures, spectators will be allowed into the stadium by prior registration. The beginning of the debate is scheduled for 19: 00. Entry frames will open with 16: 30, entry lists and IDs.

Poroshenko's supporters promise to organize free buses from the regions. Also on April 19 is scheduled motor race "Add Drive" — supporters of the current president will come to Kyiv in their own cars and bring friends.

Earlier it was reported that teams of presidential candidates Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Zelensky entered into a tripartite agreement with the NSC Olimpiyskiy. A representative of Poroshenko’s headquarters, Oleg Medvedev, announced this at a briefing, noting that the headquarters should continue negotiations on the evening of April 16, writes “Columnist".

“A tripartite agreement was concluded, which was signed by the NSC Olimpiyskiy and representatives of the election headquarters of Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Zelensky. This is a tripartite agreement to rent the stadium for the evening of April 19,” Medvedev said.

“Our representatives are going to discuss the rules of these debates. For now, we have different visions: one side is committed to a show, we are committed to holding a full-fledged discussion,” Medvedev clarified.

Zelensky said that they had previously agreed on another date - April 19, when they should pass the official debates of the candidates stipulated by law. Zelensky did not listen to his opponent’s objections and hung up.
• Showman Vladimir Zelensky in the first round significantly ahead of Petro Poroshenko. After the first round, he recorded a video in which Poroshenko urged to come to the debate to the stadium, but did not name the date. President agreed and invited Zelensky to the Olympic 14 of April. Zelensky insists that he meant April 19.
• 9 of April representatives of the CEC and NOTU stated that the official television debates between presidential candidates Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Zelensky were scheduled for 20: 00 19 of April. Their cost will be 5 million 766 thousand UAH (almost $ 216 000).
• The second round of elections will take place on April 21.
