Biden told if America is ready to go to war with Russia for Ukraine
Biden said American troops would not be stationed in Ukraine in the event of a Russian invasion. Radio Liberty.
US President Joe Biden has said the United States will not send troops to Ukraine to defend against any possible new Russian invasion.
The American leader said this to reporters on December 8 after a video conference on December 7 with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Biden added that he had warned Putin that if Russia takes further military action against Ukraine - which US intelligence reports may be possible in the coming weeks - the United States and its allies will impose sanctions "which he has never seen."
The idea that the United States is going to unilaterally use force to counter Russia's invasion of Ukraine is currently not on the table.

In his own comments after talking with Biden, Putin reiterated Russia's intention to obtain legal guarantees about Ukraine's refusal to join NATO.
