US military eliminated ISIS expert on cyber jihad

US authorities reported the death in Syria of Briton Junaid Hussein, who is believed to have been the organizer of information campaigns of the extremist group Islamic State.

According to information from the US military, the attack was made using an unmanned drone.

Junaid Hussain, born in 1994, was convicted in 2012 by a British court of hacking the personal accounts of then Prime Minister Tony Blair. Also, the group of hackers TeaMp0isoN, of which Hussein was a member, carried out attacks on the websites of the UN, NATO and Facebook.

Hussein is believed to have left for Syria in 2013. According to the representative of the US National Security Committee Michael McCall, the killed hacker was one of the key figures in the cell of the group engaged in “cyber jihad”. All this made Hussein one of the main targets of the United States in the ranks of the Islamic State.

However, Hussein's wife, former punk singer Sally Jones, denies reports that her husband was killed.
