77-year-old Bernie Sanders announced his US presidential nomination

Sanders, who is known for his socialist convictions, promises the introduction of a public health system, an increase in the minimum wage, and the introduction of free higher education in state universities.
If the 77-year-old senator manages to take the post of head of the United States, he will be the country's oldest president to ever take office. Now this title belongs Donald Trump - at the time of his inauguration he was 70 years old - more than any of the US presidents 44 before him. If Sanders wins, then at the time of his inauguration in January 2021, he will be 79 years old.
