Company Walmart, in the framework of increasing the efficiency of work, acquired a startup Parcelwhich specializes in delivering purchases within two hours.
Walmart expects the new service to deliver goods in New York during 1 of the day, including fresh and frozen food, from the network Walmart and from the online platform Jet.com. Experts believe that this transaction will allow the company to significantly increase its competitive advantages compared to Amazon.
In the message on the site Walmart it says that the company paid for a startup less than for all its acquisitions made this year. More detailed information about the transaction was not provided.
