US Peace Corps volunteers swore allegiance to Ukraine. VIDEO
The United States Peace Corps rookie group will help introduce inclusive education for children with special needs. This is one of the goals pursued by the US Peace Corps. Writes about it Voice of America.

Volunteers took an oath to serve Ukraine.
Azura from California is a sign language specialist. She has only been in Ukraine for two weeks, but she has already learned a little Ukrainian. Azura will work with children with hearing impairment in Novomirgorod (Kropyvnytskyi region).
“I will help deaf children,” she says.
Miles Green from Michigan goes to Dnepr. “I will work with children to fight HIV.”
He had served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine for two years and wanted to stay longer. “It was amazing, and I want to get to know more people from Ukraine,” says Miles.
And for Anna Admas this is the fourth year of volunteering in Ukraine.
“I decided to return to Ukraine. I have already lived in Ukraine for three years. I love Ukraine and the Ukrainian language. And I like what we are doing in Ukraine,” says Anna.
American goes to Zaporozhye. There, the Peace Corps returns for the first time since the Maidan.
“Last year we made a safety assessment and decided to return to the Kherson region and the Kharkov region. Now we are returning to Zaporozhye. The plan is to expand the mission's work even further east,” says Michael Ketover, director of the US Peace Corps in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Peace Corps remains the largest of all countries in the world.

“This program allows Americans to live among Ukrainians. It also helps Ukrainians better understand America. And the volunteers, when they return home, will tell the Americans about their Ukrainian experience,” says William Taylor, US Chargé d’Affaires in Ukraine.
The group that took the oath to serve Ukraine is small. A total of 10 volunteers. The next numerical replenishment of the Peace Corps in Ukraine expects in October 2019 of the year.
