Ukraine and the United States launch a joint nuclear project
In Washington, they announced the start of a cooperation project between Ukraine and the USA on education and research in the field of modern nuclear science and engineering. This is stated in the message. Embassies of Ukraine in the USA on his official Facebook page.

Opening the conference on the occasion of the beginning of this important project, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valery Chaly addressed representatives of leading Ukrainian and American universities and federal agencies of the USA, emphasizing the importance of developing Ukrainian-American relations in the nuclear field, in particular in the exchange of knowledge and technologies for a safe and effective use of a peaceful atom.
Valery Chaly noted that today Ukraine has great potential and powerful specialists in the nuclear field, ready to use their skills to implement joint projects with American partners.

As part of the event, the Ukrainian Embassy in the USA presented the exhibition “50 inventions that Ukraine gave to the world.” It can be seen at one of the leading educational institutions in the United States - George Washington University.

Valery Chaly thanked the US Department of Energy for many years of cooperation, in particular, Deputy Assistant Director of the US Department of Energy William Joyce, who made a presentation at the conference. He also thanked the relevant departments in this area for supporting the idea of deepening the partnership between Ukraine and the United States in the field of nuclear energy.
