In Florida, a professor pursued a student by writing her more than 800 messages per day.

Professor from the University of Central Florida, 39-year-old Ali Bordzhi was arrested for pursuing a doctoral student, whom he allegedly sent more than 800 messages per day, writes New York Post.

One message said: "You must be happy that someone loves you so much to persecute."

Last summer, Borgia met his victim when she was working on her dissertation. Borgia wrote her a message on Facebook, offering help with her studies. They went on a date several times before the girl told Borgia that their relationship would not go to physical intimacy.

But Borgi did not accept the refusal and began to pursue the student for semesters from autumn 2017 to spring 2018, sending her hundreds of text messages a day. Some of them were characterized by the victim as “extremely disturbing”.

“You think I'm sick, maybe I am! But I still love you,” the man’s message says.

He also wrote that he wanted to create a copy of a girl with the help of artificial intelligence in order to “do with it everything he wants.”

The victim asked Borgia to stop, threatening that she would otherwise turn to the police.

Subsequently, he began to write messages to her relatives.

On Tuesday, a student noticed that Borgia was chasing her in her car.

A man who has worked at the University of Central Florida since January 2016 of the year submitted his resignation from July 1.
