"Bring the children back to their parents": Zelensky demanded that Putin release the Ukrainian sailors

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky addressed the head of Russia Vladimir Putin with a request to return to Ukraine the Ukrainian sailors captured in the Kerch Strait.

“I would like to appeal to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. We all have children. Return the children to their parents, ”said Zelensky. He made the last two sentences in Russian, although the rest of the briefing was in Ukrainian.

On a note about seafarers, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on June 26. The document, as stated in Moscow, listed possible scenarios for the liberation of Ukrainians, in particular, demanded that Kiev guarantee that seamen would continue to be judged by Russian laws after returning to Ukraine, and that the cases against them would not be closed.
