In North Carolina, a policeman fed a homeless man instead of driving him out of a restaurant. VIDEO

When Horrie CJ Mullinux district police arrived at a call from Hardee's fast-food restaurant chain, which talked about a homeless person asking for leftovers, he did not drive him out. Instead, a policeman from South Carolina took out his wallet and offered to buy food for a stranger.

“[He] handled the situation amazingly!” she wrote in a post on Facebook Victoria Summer employee In addition, she posted 20-second video.

Employees of the fast food chain for years fed a homeless person. But, according to Summer, a disgruntled customer decided to call 911 to complain about the homeless.

Both employees and customers were shocked to hear Mullinax ask the man if he was hungry - and looked at the menu with a smile.

“I was delighted that the officer had so much compassion, so I thought I should make a video,” said Summer.

The video with the good deed of the Horry County Police Department was viewed more than 90 000 times. Dozens of people commented on the message, applauding the officer for not having expelled the man.

“Nice to read such a good story! Respect to the officer!” wrote one user Facebook.

“People forget that the police not only protect, but also serve,” added another.

A resident of Myrtle Beach said he recognized a homeless man in a video, calling him a veteran named Donald.

“He served in the army from 1978-1981. Then he left, worked in construction and then became homeless... his family won’t talk to him,” the resident said.

This is not the first time that Mullix was seen in a good case. In 2015, he was videotaped as he played with a group of children from the neighborhood, reports WMBF.
