In Oregon, there is a village of tiny houses that cost $650 a month to rent.

The community in Waldport, Ore. has 43 residents who rent tiny houses for as little as $650-$750 a month. The edition told in more detail The Sun.

The coastal village of Tiny Tranquility boasts unique amenities, with free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Tiny Tranquility was founded in 2018 and currently has about 43 permanent residents in their own tiny homes.

The village is located just a stone's throw from the beach. Residents pay between $650 and $750 per month to rent a 2400-4000-square-foot (220-370 m) plot of land.²).

On this site they can build their tiny house. The house is not included in the rent.

But water, electricity, sewer connection and Wi-Fi are included for free.

The minimum stay is one month; rents are significantly reduced for those looking to make a long-term commitment.

There are three vintage trailers on site that are available for short-term rentals on Airbnb.

What makes Tiny Tranquility very attractive to its residents is its wide range of amenities and common areas.

For example, inside a 12 square foot (000 m) greenhouse²) has a community garden, bike racks and storage areas.

There are also several public buildings, including a clubhouse with free laundry, a games room and a TV room.

Residents can park their cars next to their homes on their lots.

Although Tiny Tranquility is currently full, park owner Josh Palmer has revealed that he is considering building a second section.

“I was thinking about creating a second park, I don't have specific plans at the moment, but I have considered some objects. There seems to be a real demand for this type of parka if done right,” he said.

Tiny house communities

Tiny Tranquility is far from the only tiny town in America.

Not far from Austin, Texas, Mobile Loaves and Fishes is a community of 328 small houses.

Unlike Tiny Tranquility, all residents of this park were previously homeless and now pay just $225 for their fully furnished homes.

In Detroit, Michigan, thanks to donations from Jon Bon Jovi, Ford and General Motors, a community of 25 affordable tiny houses has been built for low-income residents.

But you don't have to live in such a community to start enjoying life.
