Connecticut has an abnormally young child
In the US state of Connecticut, doctors left the child, who after birth weighed about 300 grams. Reports about it Lenta.ru report with reference to the edition of the New York Post.
Abnormally little baby Connor Florio was born 13 July 2018. Then the doctors discovered that the young patient had difficulty breathing, bleeding in the brain, problems with blood sugar levels and eye disease. The doctors of the two hospitals nursed a sick child for nine months and, as a result, sent him home. Now the weight of Connor is 2,7 kilogram.
“I could not believe that he was discharged. I realized this only when we put him in the car and drove him to the house, ”his mother Jamie Florio says. 29-year-old woman also noted that the boy loved playing with toys, looking at himself in the mirror, watching people and taking a bath.
The attending physician concluded that Connor’s health had almost recovered, and soon the boy would do without an oxygen mask. “Connor is very energetic and smiling. It can be seen that it is actively developing, ”added the physician.
- At the end of February сообщалосьthat in Japan a baby was discharged from the hospital and weighed 268 grams after birth. The boy was born after an emergency cesarean section on the 24 week of pregnancy (the normal period is 38 weeks). He fit entirely in the two palms of an adult.
