In California, a woman thought she was dreaming when she woke up and found a cougar in her bed.

4 July video surveillance cameras captured a young animal that ran in front of a pickup truck in Colus, after which it headed for the parking lot of an apartment building.

In the end, the panicked cat jumped through the window of the apartment to one woman and was right on her bed.

“Actually, at first she thought she was dreaming it all. It didn’t seem true,” complex administrator Francis Muniz told KTXL.

She calmly got up and opened the back door of her apartment. The animal instantly ran out of the apartment.

Specialists told KTXL that the puma might have responded to their reflection or perhaps thought that they were going to the cave.

Commissioner for Wildlife John Troton warned of a growing number of cougars in populated areas.
