Ukrainian actor Ostap Stupka made a drunken accident in Kyiv: he was arrested
The famous Ukrainian actor Ostap Stupka, in a state of intoxication, caused an accident in the center of Kyiv, reports "TSN".
Ostap Stupka is a Ukrainian theater and film actor, TV presenter. The son of the famous Ukrainian artist Bohdan Stupka. Ostap Stupka is known for his work in such projects as “Taras Bulba”, “Major”, “Ivanov”, “Prayer for Hetman Mazepa”, “We are from the Future 2” and others.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, April 4, at 23.15 on Fedorov Street in the Goloseevsky district. According to police sources, Stupka's Range Rover crashed into a Mitsubishi that was parked at a bus stop. At that moment, a man born in 1984 was in the car.

“Investigators from the accident investigation of the capital’s police headquarters determined that the driver drove into the oncoming lane and drove into a parked vehicle. When testing him for intoxication, the Drager device showed 1,62 ppm,” the Kyiv police said in a statement.
In Ukraine, a driver behind the wheel can have a maximum of 0,2 ppm in the blood. An indicator of 1,62 ppm means moderate intoxication. At this stage, memory lapses can form - the brain no longer captures what is happening. Motor functions are severely impaired.

With numerous injuries, the victim was immediately hospitalized, and Stupka was detained on the spot. Criminal proceedings have been initiated - violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of transport by persons driving vehicles while intoxicated.
On the evening of April 4, Stupka, together with actor Mikhail Kukuyuk, took part in poetry readings in one of the Kyiv institutions, raising funds for the purchase of surgical plates for the Volyn Regional War Veterans Hospital, reports "RBK-Ukraine".
This is not the first time that members of the star family have been in an accident.
So, in the summer of 2014, on Bolshaya Zhitomirskaya Street, the foreign car of Dmitry Stupka, the son of Ostap Bogdanovich, collided with a Lada. Then the driver of the latter was taken to the hospital with a hand injury. Passengers of the Lada claimed that the accident occurred due to the carelessness of Stupka Jr., who allegedly did not see their car in the mirror.
Dmitry himself did not object and explained this by the fact that his car was in the so-called “dead zone”.
Ostap Stupka faces imprisonment for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of three to five years.

- On September 1, Efremov stated that pleaded not guilty, in the video, he allegedly said “not guilty”, but “not” was cut out during the editing, and also that he was possibly “pulled” into the car.
- On September 3, the prosecutor asked to sentence the actor Mikhail Efremov to 11 years in prison. Efremov himself pleaded guilty in court in an accident in which a person died, and on September 8, the Presnensky Court of Moscow sentenced the actor to 8 years in prison.
