The US has transferred two drone to Latvia
Two unmanned reconnaissance aerial vehicles of the MQ-1 Predator model have been transferred to Latvia from the United States. This was announced by Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis. Along with the aircraft, 70 maintenance personnel arrived, Davis added.
“This temporary deployment of aircraft and personnel will test the capability of using the aircraft in frontline operations and operations. The goal is to show our allies in Latvia and NATO that we are committed to ensuring security in the region,” Davis said.

“Estonia, as well as Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania and Poland agreed to host parts of these forces in the amount of up to one battalion. They will be placed in the region for training purposes, ”said Carter.
