Actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger contacted an 102-year-old woman from Los Angeles who is being kicked out of the apartment where she lived 30 for years.

Thelma Smith received a notice of her being evicted from her apartment with monthly rentals in early March in 90, and now she relies on her friends and relatives who live on the East Coast to help her find a new place of residence. Fox News.
Schwarzenegger promised a woman to help with the problem. He also warned landlords, saying, "You will hear from me too."

According to Los Angeles County law, homeowners in the county can evict tenants to accommodate a relative, but they must start with the tenant who was last settled. Smith, however, lives in the unincorporated area of Ladera Heights, where tenant protection is weaker.
“They use this law to evict long-term tenants who pay low rent,” said Larry Gross, executive director of the Coalition for Economic Survival.
In response to a question from journalists about why he was evicting an 102-year-old woman, the landlord replied: “Would you not take care of your child?”.
