Trump's headquarters began preparing for the inaugural speech

At the headquarters of the elected President of the United States Donald Trump began work on the inaugural speech, in which he will talk about the upcoming reforms in American foreign and domestic policy.

The task of preparing the speech is assigned to the future adviser to Trump on political issues Stephen Miller, who was preparing the billionaire speeches during his election campaign, including a speech for the Republican Party congress, reports Politico.

The inaugural address will focus on the education system, infrastructure, border security, the state of the military, the economy, outsourcing and “the structural challenges facing the country.”

Miller has already begun consultations with Trump's supporters, both within and outside his transition team.

One of the intrigues of the upcoming inauguration remains whether Trump will use a teleprompter. He criticized these devices throughout the election campaign. The last president to refuse these kinds of “prompts” during his inauguration was the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, in the 1980s.

In addition, Trump's inauguration may differ from traditional similar ceremonies in the United States. For example, an option is being considered in which the president, after taking the oath of office, will not participate in the traditional reception for members of Congress, but will go into the crowd or join the parade. Thus, the head of state will, as it were, emphasize that he is the “people's president.”

Trump also intends to attend fewer inaugural balls than Barack Obama in 2009. The inaugural committee announced its presence at 2 balls, as well as at receptions for security officials and the military.
