The flag of Armenia inexplicably disappeared from the photograph of the parade in Moscow

From the photo of the parade in honor of Victory Day in Moscow, posted on the official website of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, the flag of Armenia disappeared, visible during the live broadcast immediately behind the flag of Azerbaijan.

The parade on Red Square in Moscow, in honor of the 70 anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany, was attended by representatives of the armed forces of many countries.

Since the release of foreign military settlements to Red Square was organized in alphabetical order, the Armenian soldiers marched immediately after the Azerbaijani military.

However, in the photo of the parade posted on the official website of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the flag of Armenia, visible during the live broadcast immediately behind the flag of Azerbaijan, inexplicably disappeared.

The ministry declined to comment on this fact.

Well-known Azerbaijani military expert Uzeir Jafarov has no doubt that this is a photomontage.

“This is obvious photoshop. Plus it looks like a lot of work went into it. If you pay attention, even in the background of the photograph, adjustments had to be made to the architecture of the building,” he says.

“According to sources in the ministry, they themselves did not expect that the military from Azerbaijan and Armenia would march after each other. During rehearsals they were in different parts of the square. One way or another, this does not justify manipulation of the photo, since it is immediately visible. After all, this photo was published not only by the ministry,” adds Uzeir Jafarov.

“Our soldiers marched in a solemn parade. They are holding Israeli weapons that meet NATO standards - and all this is just for a photo shoot? In my opinion, this is unworthy,” says the expert.

The issue of a modified photo is now being actively discussed in social networks in Azerbaijan.

Since the 90 of the last century, Armenia and Azerbaijan have been in a state of frozen conflict and do not maintain diplomatic relations due to the ongoing dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh.
