Lance Reddick was born December 31, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. He began his acting career back in 1990, but at first he played minor roles.

His most famous films in the 1990s were Great Expectations, I Dreamed of Africa and The Siege. He became more famous in the 2000s when he played one of the main roles in the legendary TV series Wires.
