The United States is six times increasing the number of military on the border with Mexico
The US Department of Defense decided to send 3750 military personnel to the southwestern section of the border with Mexico in addition to support the US Customs and Border Service officers there, writes Air force.

“This will increase the total number of active forces on the border to approximately 4350 troops,” a Pentagon spokesman said. From this statement it follows that the number of military personnel on the border will increase approximately sixfold.
The ministry added that additional military units will be deployed at the border for 90 days.
In addition to military personnel, mobile surveillance systems will be deployed at the border, as well as 240 kilometers of barbed wire between inspection points will be stretched.
On Thursday, US media reported on the sending of 3500 troops to the southern US border with Mexico. Donald Trump later confirmed these plans.
“More troops are being deployed to the southern border to stop attempted incursions by illegal immigrants traveling in large caravans into our country. We stopped previous caravans, we will stop these ones too,” he promised on Twitter.
Trump also blamed the Mexican authorities for the fact that, in his opinion, they are not doing anything to stop the migrants who are trying to get into American territory as part of the caravans.
Caravans of migrants from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador started moving towards the US through Mexico last fall. Some migrants were deported, others decided to stay in Mexico, the rest are located near the American border.
This week there were also reports that another caravan of approximately 2400 people went to the US border from the Mexican capital.
