The passenger gave a place in the first class of the mother with a sick child
It all happened on the man's birthday.
On the 588 flight of American Airlines, which flew from Orlando to Philadelphia on December 6, the first class passenger decided to give his seat to the mother with the 11-month-old daughter, who was connected to the oxygen apparatus.
According to Yahoo, Kelsey Zwick and her daughter Lucy went to Philadelphia so that Lucy, born premature, can be treated for chronic lung disease at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. When Zwick and her daughter sat down, Zwick was surprised because a flight attendant approached her and said that a man in the first grade wants to change places with her.
In her post on Facebook, Zwick wrote: “A man with 2D. Today you traveled from Orlando to Philadelphia. I do not know you, but I think you have seen us somewhere. I pushed the stroller, carried the diaper, and also dragged the oxygen machine for my daughter. ”
She added: “You have given your convenient place in first grade to us. Unable to hold back my tears, I began to cry as I walked down the aisle, while my daughter Lucy was laughing! She also felt this ... real kindness. ”
Zwick said Yahoo, that she did not see a person who was kind enough to change places with her, but this gesture was stunning.
“It wasn’t just a place; it was the culmination of everything we've been through the last two years," Zwick said Yahoo . After a severe pregnancy and premature birth Lucy and her sister Eva, the family practically lived in the hospital.
At the moment, Lucy uses an oxygen balloon only at night and while traveling due to the low pressure in the cabin. In the first place was provided more space and amenities.
“We had extra space. Lucy liked the cheese plate and other luxuries,” Zwick said Yahoo.
Zwick hoped that her post on Facebook would attract the attention of a kind passenger, especially since she did not have the opportunity to thank him personally.
Interestingly, her post reached the man. “He actually wrote to us,” Zwick said. - It was the best day. He said the post made him and his wife cry and added: “I'm so glad we were on the same flight. It was the best birthday I will remember."
