The model with Down syndrome has become the star of the fashion week in New York

The dream of 18-year-old Madeleine Stewart from Brisbane came true the other day - a girl with Down syndrome went to the catwalk as part of the show at the New York fashion week. A model from Australia participated in the presentation of FTL Moda - an international design project that attracts people with disabilities from around the world to participate in fashion shows.

The show was organized with the participation of the British foundation Christover and Dana Reeve, who advocates diversity in the fashion industry. The audience went crazy when a short red-headed Maddie appeared on the podium holding the hands of male models whose bodies were painted in the style of the show.

The Australian model showed two outfits - a shirt and shorts, complete with high gold sandals and a dress with a sophisticated floral cut. Both outfits complemented the high hairstyle and blue pattern on the face. At the end of the show she went out to the public in a T-shirt.
