Cruise companies cancel flights due to hurricane Irma

Cruise companies Carnival, Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line have announced the cancellation of upcoming cruises due to hurricane Irma raging in the Caribbean, writes USA Today.
Carnival canceled the sailing of the 7-passenger Carnival Liberty on September 2, and the 974-passenger Carnival Victory on September 8. The ships were scheduled to depart from Port Canaveral and Miami respectively, with both vessels scheduled to sail to the Bahamas.
Disney Cruise Line canceled an 9 2 XDUMX scheduled Disney Fantasy flight scheduled for September 500, as well as two 8 11 XNUMX cruises scheduled for September. They all had to leave Port Canaveral and go to the Bahamas.

Some cruise companies have decided to reduce the duration of the cruises and return the ships to Florida before the arrival of the hurricane.
