Famous rock musician received American citizenship
Famous British rock musician Bill Idol became a US citizen.
The solemn naturalization ceremony took place on Wednesday, November 14 in Los Angeles.
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services decorated the collage with a photo of an 62-year-old rock star at the ceremony.
“This is a beautiful day of the naturalization ceremony,” written on USCIS on Twitter. "Congratulations to Billy Idol for becoming #newUScitizen today in Los Angeles, California."
William Broad began to study music after being captured at the university by a wave of punk that was emerging at the time. Initially, he becomes the guitarist for Chelsea, but after three performances in 1977, he creates Generation X with bassist Tony James. After the band collapsed in 1981, Billy went to America and began a solo career.
62 is a year-old musician known for hits like Rebel Yell, Dancing with Myself and Mony Mony.
