In New York, for the first time, an award was presented from the Russian Advertising media holding - Media Awards. Our website ForumDaily also received recognition from colleagues among the Russian-language media in America and a crystal award.

The commercial director of our publication, Marina Baranchuk, became the owner of one of the figurines in the form of a crystal microphone.

The ceremony took place as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Russian Advertising media holding and the 3rd anniversary of the Russian Advertising radio broadcasting on 95.5 FM-HD2.

The event took place in the legendary Romanoff restaurant, where there were literally no empty seats left that evening. Representatives of the business elite, politicians, the most famous people of the Russian-speaking community and legends of the Russian emigration came to congratulate “Russian Advertising”.

Old-timers of Russian Advertising - Inga Zhuk, Marina Lagunova and the publication's editor-in-chief Mikhail Tripolsky - took the stage to demonstrate the very first issue of the newspaper. The 1993 copy looked much thinner than the newspaper that is published now.

The main part of the evening was the presentation of the Russian Advertising radio station, which the actress and model Irina Dmitrakova and the rock star spent with brilliance and humor for replacing ripped jeans for a tuxedo, as befits Andrei Chegodaev, editor-in-chief of the Russian Advertising radio.

The presentation featured the main live shows. The presenters of the programs went on stage to talk about their programs, sometimes this turned into real stage performances. Igor Erastov, the host of the “Musical Lunch,” sang the song “We are Stray Artists,” remembering his work in the group “Jolly Guys.” The song was accompanied by a nostalgic video. The host of "Orient Express", who is also a magnificent singer, Vlad Aramov, subtly parodied pop stars - Grigory Leps, Alexander Serov and others, deserving the applause of the hall.

After this, the Russian Advertising Media Awards ceremony took place.

“There was no analogue of such an award in the Russian-speaking community. It was a bold decision, but we, as the oldest media outlet in the Russian-speaking community, sincerely decided to celebrate the merits and professionalism of our colleagues working in the media sphere of New York. I am very glad that the employees of “Russian Advertising” supported this idea and helped organize the holiday,” said Andrey Chegodaev, editor-in-chief of the “Russian Advertising” radio.

“Of course, we couldn’t bypass our team. At the moment, it so happens that our radio station brings together not just talented enthusiasts, creative and energetic, but also real professionals in their field. Talented, professional and beautiful people are drawn to us. I am very glad that Irina Dmitrakova has recently joined our team, and she will host the original program “Oh, Mommies!” Thus, our radio station offers a wide range of programs for a wide variety of audiences - from young mothers, picky music lovers to sports fans. I will say immodestly that only in our country are programs about music hosted by professional musicians, about sports - by former and current athletes, on politics - by former politicians, and on health - by certified specialists,” he added.

And what an anniversary without a festive cake and candles. The right to make a wish and blow out the candle was presented to the CEO media holding Yulia Gurevich.
