The long-awaited return: Russian woman Pimanova was released from the United States to the motherland to the child
Russian woman Olga Pimanova, who in the United States was suing her ex-spouse because of her daughter, was able to leave the United States and return to her homeland, the Russian Embassy in the USA reports on the social network Facebook.
“Russian citizen O. Pimanova flew from New York to her homeland. Yesterday, an Illinois court lifted restrictions on her departure from the United States, which is what the Russian side sought. Congratulations!” the statement said.
Earlier, a new scandal erupted in the United States with the arrest of a Russian citizen. 30-year-old Olga Pimanova was detained at the airport when she arrived for her next session at the university. The Russian woman is accused of allegedly taking her daughter from the United States without her husband’s permission. Everything would be fine, but the girl is a citizen of Russia, and in the child’s birth certificate there is a dash in the “father” column, they report “NEWS«.
Three-year-old Arianna now lives with her grandparents. To the girl’s questions “Where is mommy?” they answer evasively. How to tell a child that her mother is accused in an absurd kidnapping case, and Arianna herself is supposedly the victim of this crime? The legal paradox is difficult to explain.
American authorities accused Olga of kidnapping after a statement from her ex-husband. The Cook County Illinois court order came after Jorge Castillo claimed that Arianna (Olga's daughter) was his daughter too, and the Russian woman took their child to Russia without asking his permission. But Olga claims that she is a single mother. Even on her daughter’s birth certificate there is a dash in the “father” column.
Olga Pimanova and Jorge Castillo were really married. The wedding was played in America. Arianna during the ceremony was less than a year. But after a year and a half, the couple divorced. Olga and her daughter returned to their parents, and when she once again came to America to study, she was arrested. The woman is sure: if her ex-husband wanted to recognize a daughter, he could have done it in Russia. True, then after the divorce, he would have to pay alimony. But the ex-spouse acted differently.
