Lila Deline drove up to the house when another car crashed into her car. The accident occurred in front of her husband, who was waiting for her in the yard. He immediately rushed to the car iskorezhennomu and found that his wife is conscious, but can neither move nor speak. He fixed and held her head until an ambulance arrived, which the culprit helped to call. Doctors believe that it was thanks to the actions of the spouse that the woman survived.
In Deline, they found a rupture and dislocation of the atlanto-occipital joint connecting the occipital bone with the first cervical vertebra. “The fact that she got to the hospital alive was almost a miracle,” says surgeon Charles Gibson. “In most cases, they die at the scene with such an injury.”
