A family room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort in Florida cost more than 500 dollars per night, but the couple claims the room was bare, dead cockroaches on the floor, dust on all surfaces, and worst of all, “used condom on the bed.”

The situation was made worse by the fact that Michael and Paul's boys, Levi and Lucas, 13, have autism and epilepsy - meaning they require more care than most teenagers.

“There were a lot of exposed wires. Our boys have no sense of danger, so they can easily touch them,” Michael said. — Boys might step on a cockroach or easily touch a condom. That's what shocked us."

The Barnsley couple claimed they even called the hotel in advance and asked for the room to be cleaned, but to no avail. “We couldn't stay there. The boys were upset,” Michael said.

The couple made a request and received a new room - but it did not meet their expectations.

“Here’s what shocked us: We didn’t just book any old hotel,” Michael said. “We specially booked this resort and spent a lot of money to make our vacation magical and special. It was supposed to be magical, but it was like staying in a 1-star hotel."

A Disney World spokeswoman said: “This family has repeatedly received compensation from us over the past five years, and they continue to come again. As for their current visit, we believe that the guests’ claims are exaggerated, and they just took a few steps again to improve their vacation. ”
