The Lubbock Fire Department reported the incident on its Facebook page. The disaster occurred around 8: 00 pm local time. Single-engine Piper PA-46 crashed into the KCBD TV tower. The pilot did not fly very far to Preston Smith International Airport.
He died immediately after the collision. None of the station’s employees was hurt, according to the KCBD website. They were evacuated from the building.
The second plane crashed in Argyle, Texas, on the way to Denton Airport. The pilot of the twin-engine Cessna was alone on the plane. The crash occurred in a field near the local school. The cause of the accident could be rain.
