Coastal pension: Obama bought homes in California and Hawaii
According to the media, 44-th US President Barack Obama after the completion of the presidential term will move with his family to a mansion in Caloram, Washington, however, this is not the only property that the presidential couple has acquired recently.
Sources of publication Page Six reported that the Obama couple bought a house in Rancho Mirage, California, near Sunnylands, where one of the summer residences of US presidents is located.
Rancho Mirage is a great place to play golf, which Obama has recently taken up. Local publications have long been spreading rumors about negotiations regarding the purchase of the building, but, according to the source, the deal has already been completed.
In addition, there are rumors that the family of the 44th president purchased a house in his home state of Hawaii.
Sources believe that Californian interior designer Michael Smith, who also designed the White House for the Obama family, will take care of both homes.
