Two US military aircraft collided near Japan: details
Two US Marine Corps aircraft fell into the ocean hundreds of kilometers east of the coast of Japan while refueling in the air.

The incident occurred with the KC-130 tanker aircraft and the F / A-18 fighter-bomber. On board the aircraft in total there were seven people, one of them at the moment managed to find alive, told the BBC in the Marine Corps.
Now a rescued soldier is undergoing a medical examination at the Ivakuni Marine Corps Base in southern Japan. The Maritime Self-Defense Forces of Japan and American aviation continue to search for six other US Marines who were on airplanes, US Marine Corps reported.
The incident occurred 200 miles (322 km) from the Japanese coast.
The Marine Corps tweeted that the crash occurred at 2 a.m. local time (17 GMT Dec. 00). The military is investigating the cause of the incident.
American media reported that the planes collided in the air while refueling, but this information has not yet been officially confirmed. In-flight refueling is a complex and often dangerous operation.
A representative of the Marine Corps announced that the planes had taken off from the Iwakuni airbase and conducted the usual pre-planned training flight when the crash occurred.
Weather conditions at the time of the incident are not reported. Correspondent BBC in Tokyo notes that over all the Japanese islands at night was heavy clouds and rain.
