California resident sues Apple for iPhone XS Max design

California resident Courtney Davis sued Apple, accusing it of deliberate deception of customers because of the "bangs" on the iPhone XS Max.

Davis claims that the advertising of this smartphone from Apple is designed to hide the cutout on the front panel. She allegedly made the customer believe that the iPhone XS Max she had pre-ordered didn't have a “bang”, writes TJ.

In the lawsuit, the woman indicated what kind of advertising Apple has in mind. We are talking about the images of iPhones on the official website of the company and in retail points of sale devices. Because of the black background of the black “bang” on the phone is not visible, and the image of the planet on the screen gives the impression that the screen really takes up the entire front panel of the smartphone.

Davis demands an injunction against “abusive practices” and compensation for her damage.

The woman hopes that other victims will join her claim.
