Presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky said that he had voted in 2014 for his opponent, the current president, Petro Poroshenko, but he was mistaken and now he is fighting for the presidency.

When Zelensky came on the scene for the opening remarks, he said that he feels like Vakarchuk and never even dreamed that he, a simple guy from Krivoy Rog, would fight for the presidency against a person whom all Ukrainians supported in 2014.

“I myself was for Poroshenko. But we were wrong. Could I then imagine that our “living in a new way” would be survival, “I will finish the war in two weeks” - there will be Ilovaisk and Debaltsevo? Could we imagine that scoundrels would take advantage of the Revolution of Dignity?” Zelensky said.

“I will explain why we made a mistake... please don’t shout (at that time they shouted “Shame” at the stadium - ed.), we are talking about the Revolution of Dignity and war. We voted for one Poroshenko, but chose another,” he said.

Zelensky said that there are two Poroshenkos, one of whom is a good speaker; when the cameras turn on, he is a specialist in economics and understands everything, and when the cameras turn off, Peter-2 appears.

“The first shouts: “Putin, I’ll show you,” and the second sends greetings to Moscow through Medvedchuk. One opens a school, and the second constantly opens Roshen stores. The first opens as many as 12 kilometers of a new road, and the second closes Nasirov’s case. The first one says that he is transferring the business to a blind trust, and the second one is increasing his fortune,” Zelensky listed

“Can we transfer the Ukrainian budget to a blind trust? Maybe it’s working properly?” he asked.

“That’s why, Mr. Poroshenko, I’m here with my team. I am not a politician, but a simple person who came to break this system. “I am the result of your mistakes and promises,” Zelensky said.

He reminded Poroshenko how he invited him to Bankovaya and asked why he was going to run for president and warned that it would be difficult and he would not see his family.

"One question. Why are you going there?

Poroshenko began his five-minute speech with the words: “We waited for three long weeks for my opponent’s team to decide to come out in front of the Ukrainian people.”

Poroshenko said that his opponent Vladimir Zelensky will be a weak head of state if he wins, and the risks of his coming to power are “off scale.”

The president, according to Poroshenko, can not rule the country without the experience of international relations.

“The course for a young fighter is good, but it should have been started four years ago,” Poroshenko complains. And he reminds Zelensky that he was hiding from military registration and enlistment offices in 2014.

Poroshenko immediately went to the cry, and at the end said, referring to his opponent:

“You are not a cat in a poke, you are a bag, and in your bag there are devils and cats!”

The president's speech was accompanied by cries of "Shame!"

Later, responding to this replica of Poroshenko, Zelensky said: "It is better to be a cat in a bag than a wolf in sheep's clothing"
