In Pasco County, Florida, five prisoners broke into a car door to save the life of a little girl locked in it. The child, and at the same time the keys, accidentally slammed in the car father.

A group of convicts doing work nearby saw a confused father who was standing near a locked car and was clearly excited, writes The Sun. My father told unexpected interlocutors that he forgot his one-year-old child along with the keys in the car.

The man said that he could not afford the services of a locksmith to open the car. The prisoners decided to help and used a wire hanger to open the door. Officers from the Pasco County Sheriff's office came to their rescue.

"Someone had a wire hanger and we were able to open the door enough to unlock it from the inside," Richard Stanger with the sheriff's office told ABC 7.

He said the prisoners "know they've made serious mistakes, they've made bad choices, but they want to do the right thing in life." “There are only a very small percentage of criminals who want to continue to fight the authorities and attack people,” he says.

The convicts were able to help because they were at work - which means they have already earned the level of trust when they are allowed to be supervised outside the prison.

The video recorded by the mother of the child Shadow Lantry shows how the prisoners and the police are trying hard to open the door.

Parents were convinced that their child was safe and thanked everyone for their help.

Experts advise never to leave children in the car unattended.
