In Texas, an unknown fired a car with a mother and children, the child died

About seven o'clock on Sunday morning in Texas, a car carrying a woman and her four daughters were shelled in one of the parking spaces of Walmart. A seven-year-old girl died on the spot, her mother was wounded in the arm.

It all happened in a Walmart parking lot on Wallisville Road in the northeast of Houston, when the mother and children drove away from the supermarket, writes The Daily Mail.

According to police, there was allegedly an argument in the parking lot that resulted in the gunman opening fire at the vehicle. The shooter is described as a white male with a beard and approximately 40 years old. He drove a red pickup truck, in which he drove up to the car with the woman and girls and shot at her.

The woman received a hand wound, her ten-year-old daughter was slightly injured by shards of glass, two other teenage girls were not injured. Jazmin Barnes, seven, was killed. Her mother, in a panic, nevertheless left the parking lot, and only stopped a car in a nearby boulevard.

At a police briefing, a major in the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Jesse Razo, said that the killer could tell someone what had happened, and called on everyone who knows or finds out anything to declare himself. He also appealed to the gunman with a direct request to surrender to the police.

“We are using all available resources to bring the killer to justice. I urge you: please surrender now,” Razo said. “We will search and we will find you. We will find you,” he emphasized.
